Aberdeen Revenue Rise Bucks Trend

Summary


ABERDEEN was the only city in Scotland where hotel room revenues rose last year, a report by Deloitte has revealed.

Buoyed by the continued demand from the oil and gas industry, Aberdeen's revenue per room rose by 3.5 per cent to GBP 57, while hotels in Edinburgh experienced a 5.4 per cent decline and Glasgow a fall of 2.8 per cent.
