ABERDEEN airport was closed for several hours, and dozens of flights were cancelled at Scottish airports owing to disruption in London and across Europe.
EasyJet cancelled 21 flights between Edinburgh, Glasgow, Aberdeen and Inverness and Luton, Stansted, Gatwick and Bristol. British Airways grounded all morning flights between Edinburgh and Glasgow and Heathrow.
