AN INVESTIGATION was under way last night after an ambulance ran over a man's body as it lay on a road.
Police believe the man had already been hit by another vehicle as he crossed the A9 in Stirlingshire, but said they could not be sure whether he was alive or dead when the emergency vehicle struck him.
