JOHN Beattie has been left out of the Glasgow team for tonight's crucial European Challenge Cup match with GRAN Parma as coach Shade Munro seeks to prove the team can cope without him.
The promising No8 will be absent from the pro side during next month's international window as he attempts to win a place in Frank Hadden's Scotland side for the autumn Tests. There is an agreement between the pro team coaches and Hadden for all players in the starting XV to play Romania on 11 November to be rested from next weekend's Magners League matches; they will, obviously, also miss the following week's league games.See the full content of this document
