JOHNNIE Beattie makes his return for Glasgow tonight as the team bid to extend their longest-ever home run against the might of Magners League leaders Ulster.

Glasgow have won their last six games at Hughenden despite a plethora of injuries and Beattie admitted he was beginning to wonder whether he would win his place back once fully recovered from injury. The 21-year-old damaged ankle ligaments in his second Test match, against the Pacific Islanders in November, and the best prognosis was a return this week, with the more likely scenario another fortnight out.
