THE day began at about 8.45 when I phoned the ground to make sure the game was still on. We had been down doing some light training at the ground on Saturday morning and no-one had even thought of snow, and then I looked out my window at night and there it was. But there were guys down at the park from about 8am making sure it was playable. It just shows you how the day was not all about us.
