THE European Tour's flagship event at Wentworth will again be known as the PGA Championship in May after sponsors BMW agreed yesterday to restore more than half a century of tradition.

When BMW replaced Volvo as backers of the event in 2005, the sponsors insisted on naming the tournament as the BMW Championship.
