CARILLION, the construction and support services group, has landed a fresh deal with the Scottish Prison Service, to build the new Low Moss facility in East Dunbartonshire.

Preliminary work on the new 700-cell prison, near Bishopbriggs, is due to start this year, with an opening expected in 2012.
