AMIDST all the fuss about the SPL title race and Rangers' Uefa Cup run, today's Scottish Cup final has almost come upon us unawares. Many teams who reach the Hampden final unexpectedly might resent this relative lack of attention, but Queen of the South manager Gordon Chisholm can see the positive side of it.

"It's allowed us to get on with it nice and quietly," he said. "I'm not too bothered by that. It has been overshadowed a little bit, but we're still enjoying it."
