ROAD-SAFETY measures designed to protect cyclists are putting them at greater risk from other traffic, according to a new Scotland- wide body.

Cycling Scotland said the shortcomings of some traffic-calming and road "improvements" had increased the danger of cyclists being hit by vehicles or colliding with pedestrians.
