IT WAS meant to be the most daring show of the year as the Brit Awards went out live on ITV1 before the watershed last night.
Despite plenty of swearing - with much of it muted out by the producers - the show went off without much controversy. And it turned out to be a great night for Scottish rockers The Fratellis. The Glasgow-based band were voted best breakthrough act. They beat hotly tipped Lily Allen, who went home empty-handed despite three nominations.See the full content of this document
