ONE of Scotland's largest police forces yesterday announced plans to target the breakfast tables of thousands of homes in a fresh offensive to drive down crime.

More than half a million milk cartons printed with advice on how to avoid being a victim of crime will be distributed throughout the north-east in a joint initiative between Grampian Police and Inverurie-based Mitchells Dairy.
