Summary
THE Scottish economy is growing at its fastest rate for almost seven years, with the positive outlook and growth reported last quarter being maintained through the summer.
According to the latest Lloyds TSB Scotland Business Monitor for the three months ending August 2004, half the businesses surveyed reported an increase in turnover, with only 17 per cent reporting a decrease.
