Summary
UNEMPLOYMENT in Edinburgh has fallen to 1.9 per cent over the past three months - the lowest ever recorded rate since the local authority's boundaries were drawn up 22 years ago.
The city's jobless rate, unveiled in the first of a new quarterly bulletin to be published by Edinburgh Council, is 0.7 percentage points lower than the Scottish average of 2.6 per cent in the three months to the end of July.See the full content of this document
