A MAJORITY of the more than 150,000 small firms in Scotland will be less than GBP 1,000 better off under the Scottish Government's plans to cut business rates.
According to calculations for Holyrood's economy committee by economist Peter Wood, 82,483 of the 158,852 firms eligible to benefit from the SNP's small business bonus scheme have a rateable value of under GBP 3,500.See the full content of this document
