Flybe Deal Threatens 350 Scottish Ba Jobs

NEARLY 350 British Airways' ground-handling jobs in Glasgow, Edinburgh and Aberdeen airports are under threat as a result of the proposed takeover of BA Connect by rival low-cost operator Flybe.

Staff meetings involving those potentially affected have been held over the past two days, and officials have been unable to give any more certainty to workers of a future with the carrier, other than to say a review is underway and a final decision will be made by the end of the year.
