PASSENGER numbers at low-cost airline EasyJet rose 28.9 per cent in March from a year ago to 2.57 million, as its load factor - the proportion of seats sold - was 91.2 per cent of capacity, 4.3 per cent higher than a year ago.
The increase, which included the busy Easter break, beat figures from larger low-cost rival Ryanair which this week reported a 20 per cent rise in passenger numbers.
