SCOTLAND'S spending watchdog, Audit Scotland, has called for better monitoring of the GBP 1.4 billion of special projects that the Executive launched last year.
It found the funding for 74 projects announced in 2004 - including initiatives to support community regeneration, develop sport facilities, prevent youth crime and develop new businesses - was generally well managed.See the full content of this document
