EDINBURGH'S annual video games festival will this year feature a "Made in Scotland" platform for the first time in recognition of the increasing importance of the rapidly growing sector north of the Border.
The platform, part of the renamed Edinburgh Interactive Entertainment Festival, puts some of Scotland's leading names - including Real Times Worlds, Visual Science and Rockstar North - along side some of the world's industry giants, including Sony and Nintendo.
