NO-ONE'S walking around in space suits, but the sense of reaching for the stars is palpable in Glasgow as the 59th International Astronautical Congress opens, turning the town into space city. At the Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre some 2,000 astronauts, scientists, bureaucrats and others experts are converging for the largest and most prestigious gathering of its kind on the planet, which opened yesterday.
