Celtic's two-point lead at the top of the Scottish Premier League remained intact, and even Walter Smith's team seemed to be happy with that. Rangers, having spent the first half basically throwing a blanket over the game, emerged a little more ambitiously in the second, but total commitment to victory seemed, overall, to be an alien concept to both sides.
