THE father of a man held hostage in Iraq for more than two years claims the UK government has blocked attempts by the SAS to rescue him.

IT consultant Peter Moore, 36, and his four bodyguards, including two Scots, were seized in Baghdad in May 2007 by a gang of 40 armed men.
