THE media intrusion into the lives of the McCanns has "crossed the line", the father of missing Madeleine has said, as the family prepares to mark 100 days today since she vanished.

In an interview with The Scotsman, Gerry and Kate McCann described their anger at some of the "absurd" speculation that they were in any way connected to the abduction or possible murder of their daughter. They also insisted their belief that Madeleine would be found alive was based on evidence rather than blind faith.
