HAVING moved into a new house, built a relationship with new girlfriend Jo Baldwin - a mother of two he met on the school run - and played some of the best golf of his remarkable career, Colin Montgomerie returned to Glasgow in buoyant mood yesterday and confessed he felt, at 42, as if life was starting over again.

In a candid interview with The Scotsman before attending a charity dinner in his honour which raised funds for Scottish junior golf, Monty said he had never felt more contented.
