A SURVEY by Ipsos MORI - commissioned by DLA Piper Scotland - has emphasised how important lawyers are in advising international businesses. Bruce Westbrook, DLA Piper Scotland managing partner, says: "The bigger the company, the more likely they are to seek advice from international lawyers in relation to their overseas concerns. It seems the larger they are the more confident they are in their own skills. In those companies of more than 250 employees surveyed, 56 per cent rely on international lawyers.
