ONE of the UK's biggest regional brewers said yesterday it planned to ask shareholders for GBP 176 million to exploit low prices for greenfield sites on which to build new pubs.

Marston's, which has 2,200 pubs in England and north Wales, said trading conditions presented a "rare opportunity" to buy sites on attractive terms.
