IT MIGHT seem perverse on the back of a 6-0 win against Gretna but Hibs manager Tony Mowbray yesterday praised his defenders for allowing those in more advanced positions the confidence to express themselves.
The statistics show that Hibs are an improved side from last season, with five more goals scored in domestic matches than at the same stage during the last campaign.
