Summary
A LACK of leadership at the top of Scottish football is a major factor in the game's decline, according to a report produced by MSPs. The detailed investigation by members of the Scottish Parliament's enterprise and culture committee concluded that a stronger national governing body is needed to lift the sport from its current trough.
The malaise runs through from grass-roots to national team level and the report states that "the status quo is not the best possible option for the structure of Scottish football".
