IRELAND'S Call is a passionate, rousing anthem that stirs the blood around Lansdowne Road, but there is a simmering hope among Scots that it may prelude another against-the-odds uprising by Frank Hadden's resurgent Scotland.

With four teams jostling for position at the top of the standings on four points each, the 2006 RBS Six Nations Championship is wide open. Although the winners of tomorrow's match between England and France will be installed as championship favourites going into the final round of fixtures next weekend because of their superior points differential, a win for Scotland over Ireland in Dublin this afternoon would turn Hadden's men into genuine contenders for the title going into the last game against Italy in Rome.
