FOR the first time in over two years, the sold-out signs are set to be posted at the Braehead Arena for a Scott Harrison fight, Having previously asserted that the World Boxing Organisation's world featherweight champion is a prophet without honour in his own land, Harrison's manager Frank Maloney was both relieved and delighted to be the bearer of such positive news yesterday.
Not since he made the maiden defence of his first reign as WBO champion, against Wayne McCullough in March 2003, has Harrison entered the ring at a Braehead filled to its 6,000 capacity. He will do so on Saturday night when he faces Australian challenger Nedal Hussein, a world-ranked opponent capable of providing a genuine threat to the champion.See the full content of this document
