Summary
When my little sister, Louisa, and I were knee-high to grasshoppers, we would spend the occasional evening in the foyer of China Inn, flicking through Look-in magazine and awaiting our pre- ordered carrier bag of egg fried rice and banana fritters. There was the option of sitting in, but as there were only around three small booths (and we wanted to get home to catch Airwolf), we'd always get our swag bag to take away.
It was a bit of an Eighties' flashback, then, when I visited the new restaurant, Miso & Sushi (with junior and my boyfriend, Rolf, in tow), to discover it's in the premises of the Soutar sisters' former neighbourhood restaurant.
