A MIDDLE-aged man who slipped a note of his mobile telephone number to a teenage papergirl had a conviction for breach of the peace quashed by appeal judges yesterday.

The judges said David Angus, 50, might have acted in a puzzling and inappropriate way, but that did not make it criminal.
