TWENTY men and women were honoured at a special reception hosted by the First Minister last night in recognition of their role in foiling the alleged terrorist attack at Glasgow Airport.
While John Smeaton, the hero baggage-handler, and holidaymaker Michael Kerr were among those commended, many of the others, including members of the armed forces and the emergency services, were reluctant heroes, saying they wanted to remain anonymous.See the full content of this document
