EXPORTS from Scotland showed healthy growth between 2005 and 2006, rising by more than 7 per cent to top GBP 20.6 billion. The rise came despite the loss of a third of exports to the US, Scotland's largest overseas market.
The Scottish Government's "Global Connections" survey, published yesterday, showed the overall rise was driven by a GBP 700 million surge in the export value of the service sector, and a GBP 600m rise in manufactured exports.See the full content of this document
