SCOTTISHPOWER has boosted its pick-up rate of new UK customers once again - although the company admitted that bill payers will soon have to fork out for higher electricity prices.
The Glasgow-based firm signed up 250,000 consumers in the quarter to end June, bringing its total throughout the UK to over 4.5 million. The rate was faster than over the course of last year, when the firm attracted 600,000 customers at 50,000 a month.See the full content of this document
