1 IT'S OK TO SPREAD YOURSELF THINLY. I'VE DEDICATED a large part of my life to doing something really well - sailing. I always worked harder than any of my competitors and left nothing to chance. I also don't believe in doing things by half. As well as sailing professionally in a catamaran, I present a regular TV show for CNN, am the ambassador for the Brewin Dolphin Scottish Series sailing event, have twins who are a handful and am easily roped into charity events, openings, launches - you name it. To be honest, you could get me to turn up to the opening of a crisp packet. As a result, I'm way too busy and don't get much sleep, but I enjoy every moment.
