CABLE & Wireless saw its shares jump 7 per cent yesterday after the firm unveiled robust third- quarter figures, although the company denied criticism that it is pricing UK competitors out of the market.
The 133 year-old telecoms giant, which has operations from the Caribbean to east Asia, said overall revenues fell 4 per cent to GBP 808 million in the three months to end-December.
