PAT Stanton believes the honeymoon will soon be over for the Hibernian players under new manager John Hughes.
An acclaimed former Hibs captain and manager, Stanton has also been a frustrated fan this season watching what he sees is a team who have not demonstrated enough tenacity in the seven competitive games played under Hughes so far. For all the technical talent in the squad possessed by the likes of Derek Riordan and new signings Liam Miller and Anthony Stokes, the fortitude and winning mentality required to make it count when it matters on the field is a vital ingredient that has been missing, according to Stanton.
