THE death of Celtic's aspirations in the Champions League will almost certainly give birth to rumours that Gordon Strachan will quit the club at the end of the season. Talk of the manager's impending departure is nothing new, the more insistent of the gossip- mongers having been engaged in spreading the "news" for two of the three seasons he has been in charge.
The prediction, inevitably, will be fulfilled one day, and it may even happen in the early summer of this year.
