TESCO, the UK's biggest supermarket chain, is to get a GBP 1.25 million grant from Scottish taxpayers to create 300 call-centre jobs, it emerged yesterday.
The giant retailer, which made pre-tax profits of GBP 1.44 billion in the six months to August this year - almost GBP 90 a second - is to get the money from the Scottish Government.See the full content of this document
