THE Conservative conference in Bournemouth closed yesterday with a glimpse of what could be the party's future, in the form of Jessica Lever.
At 17, she was the youngest woman ever to address a Tory conference. Following in the auspicious footsteps of the former leader William Hague, who was 16 when he gave his first conference speech, she used her address to harangue older party colleagues for not doing enough to woo young and would-be voters.
