The psyches of celebrities are, as we know, of vital interest to us all. But now that the Parkinson Age has passed, and chat shows are a showcase for them to look embarrassed as Graham Norton displays kinky websites, we have only the character-under-fire revealing likes of the reality shows to truly understand them. Which is fine, but it's hard to really get at the roots of a former pop star or C-list actor's fundamental personalities while they're trying to swallow cockroaches.
