THE singer Celine Dion, right, bless her, has admitted that the audiences at her Las Vegas show are often tired, drunk, sick and, in some cases, asleep. Dion, 36, says her current stint as a regular performer at the Caesars Palace Colosseum means that, for the first time in her career, she's often not playing to fans. She says: "When I started here, I told myself, 'I'm not gonna expect anything. That only leaves you open to disappointment'." Whether Sir Elton John will be so even tempered with the same audience reaction remains to be seen. He recently signed a contract to perform regular shows there.
