The crew of an Edinburgh-bound plane with 58 passengers on board became "distracted enough" to line up at one end of a runway just as a Boeing 737 was landing at the other end, an accident report revealed yesterday.
The crew of the Flybe Dash 8 aircraft did not realise the runway at Exeter airport was in use for a landing and had taxied to it, contrary to instructions from air traffic control, the Air Accidents Investigation Branch said.See the full content of this document
