Summary
COINCIDING with the 200th anniversary of the death of one of the greatest maritime heroes of all time, Admiral Lord Nelson, SeaScotland 2005 is a celebration of Scotland's coastline, lochs and inland waterways, our maritime heritage and our affinity with water. The Edinburgh International Tattoo commemorates the maritime theme with a moving tribute to the famous admiral, marking what Tattoo producer Brigadier Melville Jamieson believes is "one of the greatest victories ever at sea".
