TWO men died yesterday after suffocating in the hold of a fish- farming barge while attempting to carry out repairs to the vessel.

Coastguard rescue teams believe the two maritime workers were starved of oxygen while inspecting hydraulic pipes on board the ship, which was moored on Loch Creran, Argyll.
