LABOUR was last night given its widest lead of the campaign so far in an opinion poll that showed it 15 points ahead of the Conservatives.

The Mori poll in today's Financial Times belied the party's claim that the Tories could still win the election if just one supporter in ten decamped to the Liberal Democrats.
