Summary
I SHOCKED myself last week by discovering I am reasonably good at ice skating. The last couple of times I have been, I have struggled to get a rhythm going on the ice at Winter Wonderland in Princes Street Gardens - too many people, not enough ice.
Anyway, my family and I (God, I sound like the Queen) went with some friends to Murrayfield Ice Rink, where I have never before ventured in almost 13 years in the Edinburgh area. Lots more ice, not as crowded - and much, much better value (though the loos and cafe are grotty).See the full content of this document
