CHRISTINE MacAndie, a consultant surgeon at the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Paisley, has had to cancel clinics until Thursday after being stranded in Norwegian capital, Oslo with her husband and two children.
She believes better contingency plans should have been put into place to help those left in limbo. She said: "There does not seem to be any assistance for UK nationals - the embassy here is closed for the weekend.
