RICHARD Cazaly, the main suspect in the Abigail Witchalls stabbing, appeared to confess to the attack in a note written shortly before he committed suicide.

The contents of the note emerged as Surrey Police detectives continued their investigations into the attack, which left the young mother paralysed. Cazaly, 23, took an overdose of paracetamol tablets in a remote Inverness-shire glen in the early hours of 28 April and died at Edinburgh Royal Infirmary two days later.
